Shining Stars Award
On Friday, October 28th, we had our first Shining Stars Awards Assembly! At the end of each month, we will be holding an assembly to honor students who have been especially respectful throughout the month. Each classroom and specials teacher will nominate one student who has done a great job of showing Respect for Self, Others, and Our World that month. Parents of the chosen students will be notified through an Evite two days before the assembly, but we ask that you keep the award a surprise for your student. All of our stu-dents did an amazing job of being respectful at this month‟s assembly.

Specials: I would like to nominate Mrs. Hawkes Kindergarten Class as the December STAR class. They are some of the smallest kids in our school, but they show a lot of respect for themselves, others, and the world and are a great example of good and positive behavior every time I see them. They come in to the lab every week with their voices off and are so good at listening to and following directions. They are hardworking and not afraid to try tricky and challenging projects in the computer lab. I am proud of what they are able to do! I hope the whole school will notice what a good example they set and try to be like Mrs. Hawkes Kindergarten class.
